In a world that urgently needs environmental conservation and socially conscious initiatives, the union of a mission-driven company and a dedicated charitable foundation is not just news—it’s a critical step forward. Office H2O and the Bottleless Nation Charitable Foundation (BNCF) are two such entities, and we’d like to think our recent collaboration is setting a new standard for corporate social responsibility.

The Synergy Between Office H2O and BNCF

Since 2015, we here at Office H2O have steadily built a reputation on a foundation of environmental stewardship and community support. With a commitment to eliminating plastic waste from traditional bottled water solutions in offices across the nation, we’re proud to pioneer sustainable practices across the Midwest. As a part of our legacy that we hope to leave behind, we’ve teamed up with Bottleless Nation and BNCF to support other organizations that share similar values and missions.

By combining our efforts, we hope to not just extend our reach and impact, but to also encourage others to join us as we take a stance to fight plastic pollution and bring clean water to those who need it most.

United for a Cause: The Charity Collaboration

The collaborative efforts of Office H2O and BNCF are inherently powerful because we represent a unified response to global challenges. And we all know that money talks, so we’re putting our money where our mouth is! Thanks to BNCF’s charity selection board, Office H2O was able to contribute to two important causes this year that will impact local communities and beyond.

On a global scale, Office H2O is proud to announce our support for charity: water®, a global nonprofit that brings clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. Through a profound collaborative effort with our customers, sister company, and billing partner, we had a helping hand in raising a substantial $40,000 for the charity, contributing $10,756 directly to further this important work. Because charity: water® 100% funds clean water projects, our entire contribution is now going towards two new wells with hand pumps in the Nampula District in Mozambique.

Locally, our 2023 contributions are going towards Keep America Beautiful®, which focuses on inspiring and educating individuals to take action every day to improve and beautify their community environment. The organization is driven by the work and passion of millions of individual volunteers, nearly 700 community-based Keep America Beautiful affiliates, and the support of municipalities, elected officials, and corporate partners. And we’re proud to say we’ve contributed to maintaining beautiful, healthy communities by helping to raise $23,593, of which we contributed a notable $6,344.

Driving Change Together

The partnership between Office H2O and BNCF highlights the potential of collaborative charity work and showcases the significant impact we can have on driving social and environmental change. But we couldn’t have done this alone. Our contributions were collected through a portion of our 2023 bottleless water cooler and ice machine installation fees, as well as through fees collected from our billing partners at Pure Water Partners. So, whether we were installing new coolers or you were making up for lost time, you had a significant role to play in our ability to give back to charitable causes like charity: water® and Keep America Beautiful®.

As we move forward, Office H2O and BNCF will be hosting some collaborative volunteer clean-up events through Keep America Beautiful®, as well as receiving some updates on the progress of the water projects we’ve helped support. We will be sharing all of that news and more with you as we head deeper into 2024.
